Introducing Tenson

Community with purpose.

In 1966, Tenson founder Paul Rydholm observed: “We are not selling products, we sell the dream of a getaway experience and becoming part of a community - A way of living”.

”...becoming part of a community”: this is the primary driver behind Tenson’s Community with Purpose: to connect with our community; to live life with purpose and in harmony with nature. These remain essential elements of the Tenson “way of living”.

With this in mind, in the summer of 2021, Tenson kicked off our Community with Purpose and gathered an ever-growing group of friends to connect, to introduce themselves and to meet others driven by purpose - self defined and self-directed purpose. This community is committed to supporting Tenson and our aims to be credibly recognized as a purposeful brand, one that helps people to reconnect with nature.

Please take a few moments to meet some of our Friends of Tenson in our Community with Purpose and to read some of their compelling blog posts in Tenson Stories. Our Friends come from diverse backgrounds, geographically, culturally and philosophically, who are truly compelling souls and living life in nature almost daily, professionally and/or personally.

Tenson’s Community with Purpose here are not paid marketers. We simply provide Tenson product for these individuals to try, test, and offer us product and design feedback so that we can continuously improve our product. And we encourage our “Friends of Tenson” to use our hashtags and to invite others into our Community with Purpose. But, it is on their terms.

On Tenson’s return to our roots and toward a more sustainable future we invite you to join our growing community and share in our adventurous journey - a difficult, complex path with highs and lows, just like every human experience. Throughout this journey, we aim to openly share our original purpose, our story, our product development process and our continuous pursuit of a more sustainable future.
