Welcome to Tenson Stories! Here, anticipate exploring an ever-evolving collection of stories - written, video and audio - about Tenson’s past, present and future and about our growing community. We plan to feature stories about our product and design introductions, upcoming adventures, Tenson photo and film shoots, special initiatives, collaborations and contests in which you can engage with Tenson.
We also feature stories from our Tenson Community with Purpose members, and plan to share with you at times educational resources and special insights about living in harmony with nature. For the first time in 35 years (1987), The Swedish Outdoor Brand returned to reach the summit of Mount Everest! On 15 May 2022, Sonam Sherpa, Managing Director of Sherpa Adventure and member of the Tenson community - reached Everest’s summit in Tenson’s Naomi Expedition Jacket.

Sagarmatha Next strives to promote sustainable tourism in the Khumbu region of Nepal and aim to change the perception around waste by creating awareness among the locals and visitors and demonstrating that if treated properly, waste has a value. Sagarmatha Next has three components - The Centre, Waste Management Plan and Carry Me Back - a crowdsourced waste removal system where everyone can be part of the solution.
