Clarification: Chris references the ‘waterproofness’ of these garments by using an industry standard whereby, the millimeters he references here indicates the equivalent of placing a 25mm x 25mm square tube over the fabric of the garment and determining how high (in millimeters) a column of water can be suspended over it before it starts to leak.
