Corina Akner
I am by all means an “outside person” where that means climbing and crawling around in any thinkable context to understand more, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. In my line of work, it is important to get my own hands-on experiences and I tend to look for the "behind the scene" kind of stuff: that's where the waste tends to hide.
Both privately and professionally I strive towards hosting and taking part in activities that involve sun, rain and snow. Luckily, Tenson removes the small inconveniences of harsh weather and allows me to bask in all of nature's glory. I’m psyched about this collaboration where I get to provide direct feedback to perfect their collection for all outdoor situations. And before you ask: their aim is to be carbon neutral and I will hold them to that.
VÄRT is a design bureau and education platform where people come to meet and learn about sustainability, circular economy and food waste. We let our groups get both intellectually and tangible experiences in order to learn but also bring teams, coworkers or friends closer together. We particularly explore what happens beyond our current suboptimal systems and innovate new and holistic solutions, products and ways of thinking. Contact us for building workshops as they should be in the 21 century
